FAQ's

Explain your building process.

At Parti, our goal is to build your home or business to the highest quality standard at the best value. We specialize in off-site construction, where we take advantage of a climate-controlled environment, precision craftsmanship and a full-time employee base. Our homes are built to the same standards as residential construction; all homes meet or exceed CABO specifications.

How are Parti homes better built than traditionally constructed homes?

Examples of our quality include building with more wood per square foot, cutting framing members on jigs rather than by hand, using plywood for sheathing, and gluing and/or screwing all materials.

How are Parti homes built faster?

Our team consists of full time experienced craftsmen who work every day for Parti, rain or shine, in a climate-controlled environment.

Why are Parti homes less costly?

Our orderly, sequenced production process gains efficiencies and economies of scale; our standardized procedures minimize waste; we have better inventory control (materials are not lost on the job site); and we can purchase materials in volume since they can be stored out of the weather in our facility.

What type of roof do your homes have?

Parti has a traditional knee wall and hinged rafter. The roof lies flat during shipment and is raised when the house is set. Our roofs are covered with Owens Corning Architectural 25-year shingles.

What is the roof pitch?

We prefer to build a 7/12 or steeper. Lower pitches can be built for porches or bump outs.

What type of siding does Parti apply?

Our standard siding is Hardiboard. However, our homes can also be brick, stucco or stone.

What finishing materials does Parti routinely use?

We recommend GE Appliances, Kohler Faucets and Fixtures, Marvin Windows and Doors, Custom Solid Front Cabinets, Corian Countertops, and Owens Corning Shingles to name a few. Customers are not limited to an approved list. They may select vendors according to their personal tastes and budget.
